You can be Anything

Good afternoon every body. Back again with my second post for this day.
This time I coloured up a Sprite from Aurora Wings. I do love her beautiful digi's. This is one of her latest Sprites, "Crocus Sprite". And I'm just in time to enter it in the Challenge of Aurora Wings, what was this time to use a sketch.
The papers I used for this card are from Kaisercraft, 'Lady Rose'. I inked the papers up with Distress Ink, 'Walnut Stain'.
The sentiment is coming from a set from Hero Arts.
The edge I punched with a punch of Martha Steward, 'Optic Dot'.
The leaves underneath the flowers are a die from Cheery Lynn, 'Olive Branches' and a Doohickey from Magnolia.
The tree little butterflies are a die from Die-Namics. They come in a set which is called 'Notched Tag'.
The flowers coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. For the bling I put some Stickels, 'Star Dust' on them.
The ribbon, flat back pearls, rhinestones and sequins coming from my stash.
I hope you like this little card again. I did anyway by colouring it and making it. Have a lovely weekend and thanks for passing by! See you soon!

Winter Wonderland

A very good morning to you all out there. I hope you had a nice week and having even a nicer weekend. Thanks everybody for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
We have been busy setting up the swimming pool on our roof terrace. It's getting already really hot over here in Luxor. I already took a dip in my pool but, brr, the water was still rather cold.
For today I have a Christmas card for you.
This one is made with a digi from Lili of the Valley, "Winter Girl". So happy that they now also sell digi stamps! Although I could not resist to order also two sets of sentiment stamps. But I have to wait till September before I get them, because then I will visit my family again in Holland. And I do love their sentiment stamps! They are so versatile.
So of course, the sentiments used on this card are also from Lili of the Valley and they are the "Christmas Sentiment Tags" Set 32.
The papers I used for this card are already old ones and I really do not know any more from which company. I only know they are in lovely shades of blue, grey and white. I inked up all the papers with Distress Ink, 'Walnut Stain'. Behind the papers I put on the right side a doily and the left side a little tag.
I used a edge punch form Martha Steward, 'Snowflakes'.
Behind the flowers I used a die from Cheery Lynn, 'Olive Branches' and a Doohickey from Magnolia.
The snowflakes are made with a punch from Martha Steward, 'Himalayan Snowflake' and a Doohickey from Magnolia. On top of that one I put a rhine stone.
The flowers and the Vintage Seam Binding are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. For the bling I used my Stickels, 'Star Dust'.
The inside of the card I decorated accordingly. For that I used some ribbon with snowflakes from my stash and a sentiment from the papers.
I do hope you love this card again. Thanks for visiting and hope to see you soon today because I will have a second post.

A Beautiful Baby Girl

Hello to every body. Back again with a new card for you.
This time not with a coloured image but I used a decoupage sheet from Nellie Snellen, "Vintage Baby Girl". I do not have so much stamps for baby cards and this is an easy and quick way to make sweet baby cards.
I cut the image out with a Round Nestabilitie. The background I made with a Noor! Design die, 'Frame Vierkant' 6002/0147.
The papers I used are from a paper pad from Papermania, 'Capsule Collection'. All the papers in this pad are pink/redisch coloured. So ideal for baby girls. The papers I inked up with Distress Ink, 'Walnut Stain'.
Behind the papers I put a little paper doily.
The sentiment on the card is made with a stamp from Lili of the Valley. I don't think they are no longer available any more.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. On one of the flowers in the right corner I attached a charm in the shape of a little pacifier. The branches behind the flowers are a Doohickey die from Magnolia. The swirl is also an oldy from Magnolia.
The butterflies are made with an old punch from Anna Griffin.
The little pom-pom ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.
The pearls and the lace are from my stash.
I hope you like this card again. Thanks for passing by and wishing you a lovely weekend. See you next time!

You Make Me Happy

Good day to you all. I'm back with a new card. But first, thanks for passing by to my little space on blog land.
Today I have a card for you with a digi from Crafts and Me, from the artist Jeremiah Ketner. Meet "Summer Days". Isn't she lovely! I coloured this beauty with my Copic Markers.
For the design papers I used a paper pad from Kaisercraft, "Tiger Lilly". All the papers I inked up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain". Behind the papers I put a black doily.
The sentiment stamp is coming from a set from Stampology, "Ticketed".
The leaves behind the flowers/roses are from Cheery Lynn, "Olive Branch" and "Irish Leaves".
On the other side I used the "Trailing Ivy" die from Creative Expressions.
The little fence is a die from Memory Box.
I also used a edge punch from Martha Steward, "Gothic Arches" and the butterfly punch "Glassene Butterfly".
The roses and flowers coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. The hydrangea is from Prima Marketing. I put a spacer with a black brad in the middle.
The ribbon, flat back pearls and rhinestones coming from my stash.
What was needed I put Stickels, "Stardust" on it.
For some extra I also put some Liquid Pearls, "Gold" on her kimono and on the points of the fence.
The inside of the card I decorated accordinly. For that I used some hydrangeas from Prima Marketing. The leaves behind it are made with a punch from Martha Steward.
The butterfly stamp on the white card stock comes from a set from Darcie's. I stamped her with Memento Ink, "Tangelo".
That was it for so far. I hope you like the card which I made. Thanks for visiting and if you leave a comment that is greatly appreciated. Have a nice day and hope to see you soon again.

Party Time

Good morning every body, I'm back with a new card. I want to thank you for all your visits on my last blogpost and your lovely comments.
One of the questions was if I could get hobby stuff here in Egypt. And I have to say a big "No!".
As far as I know you cannot even buy card stock in Egypt. So basically nothing.
That's why you see a lot of old papers on my cards now. That has an advantage. You finally use all your old but still beautiful stuff, what you've been stashing over the years. And of course, it save you a lot of money! Lol!
But, I do buy sometimes some new stuff and let it send to my mothers home in Holland. But because I go only once a year to Holland, so when I finally have it here in Luxor, Egypt, it is already old again! Lol! And letting it sending to Egypt is not an option because the post is terrible over here. It will probably get lost.
So let's go on to my new card for today.
I used a digi from Morgan Fitzsimons, and this is one of here lady heads, "Cameo 13". I do love her lady heads! I coloured this beauty up with my Copic Markers; cut her out with Nestabilities 'Labels Small' and matted her on red card stock also cut out with Nestabilities, 'Labels Big'.
The paper pad I used is from Bo Bunny, 'Rose Café Collection'.
The sentiment I used is a stamp from Lili of the Valley.
For the rest I used a Doohickey edge die from Magnolia.
The leaves underneath the flowers are a die from Cheery Lynn, 'Olive Branch' and an oldy from I think, Marianne Design.
The vintage seam binding comes from Wild Orchid Crafts and also the flowers/roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Behind the flowers I put some lovely fluffy feathers.
For the bling I used Stickels, 'Star Dust'. And the edges of the papers I inked up with Distress Ink, 'Walnut Stain'.
The flat back pearls coming form my stash.
The inside of the card I decorated accordingly. The stamps I used on the white card stock are from Pink Paislee, 'London Market'. I stamped them with Distress Ink, 'Victorian Velvet'.
That was it for now. I hope you like the card. Thanks for passing by and hope to see you soon again.
