Baby Girl

Good day to every body. First I have to thank you all for visiting my blog and leaving such nice comments. It is much appreciated!
Today I have for you a very special baby card. I made this card for my sister in law who's daughter got last week a little baby girl. I made this card already a while ago but could not show it to you until the baby was born. But now the baby has born and everything is fine with mother and child I can show it to you on my blog.
Because it is my nice of course I did my best to make a lovely card for her.
The image is a digi coming from Lili of the Valley, "Balloon Basket". I coloured this sweet stamp up with my Copics and then cut her out with a Nestabilitie, "Scalloped Oval".
The papers I used are from an old paper pad from Papermania. I inked all the papers up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain". I also used a paper doily.
Sentiment stamps I used are from Lili of the Valley and Personal Impressions. The word 'Baby' is made with rub off letters.
Punches used are from Martha Steward, "Doily Lace" and "Glassene Butterfly".
The little flags with the rub off letters is an old die from Marianne Design. The swirl is a Doohickey from Magnolia.
The big edge is made with a die from Noor! Design. I cut it out twice, one time from pink card stock and one time from the paper pad.
The flowers, buttons and white leaves coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. On the flowers I used as usual some Stickels, "Star Dust". The pink rhinestone sparkle is coming from The Hobbyhouse. At the bottom of the flowers on the left I attached a pram charm with some Scrappers Floss.
The flat back pearls, rhinestones and ribbon are coming from my stash.
Both insides of the card I decorated also. I used for this a Scalloped Heart Nestabilitie. The corners are made with a die from Quickutz. And on the other side I made some tags made with Doohickeys from Magnolia. The Vintage Seam Binding is also from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Between the left inside I stuck a big tag. One side decorated with design paper and on the backside left it blanc with only a stamp from Marianne Design. The hole on the tag I made with a punch from Fiskars. And in every hole I knotted a different ribbon.
Well, this was a bit of a long post and more photo's then usual. I do hope you like this sweet card. Thanks every body for passing by. I hope you have a lovely Friday and see you soon!

Merry Christmas

Good afternoon to everybody. First of all thank you every body for visiting my blog and leaving such nice comments!
I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend. Over here in Luxor you do not notice so much about Easter. After all, this is a Muslim country. Although they have a large population of Coptic Christians. And they celebrate of course Easter. Only the second Easter day is in Egypt traditional a holiday for every body, Muslim and Christians. It is called Sham el Nessim, it marks the beginning of spring. And here in Luxor every body goes to the river Nile and sit with the whole family at the banks of the Nile having a lovely day out. It is very busy then along the Nile with people and children swimming, boats and the traditional sailing boats, Felucca's, and all having a great time.
And on a hot day today, temperature is around 35 degrees, I have a Christmas card for you all.
For this card I used a digi stamp from Hannah Lynn, "Poinsettia Pixie". I always love to colour those digi's. And of course I used my Copic Markers for it.
For the papers I used an old paperpad from Kaisercraft, "Just Believe". I inked all the papers up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain".
The sentiment stamp is from Magnolia. Around it I put some Stickels, "Silver".
The cut out Christmas ornament is a die from Memory Box, "Swirl Ornament". On top of the Christmas ornament I glued a silver cord coming from The Ribbon Girls and on top of that I put a little red rose.
The leaves underneath the flowers a two different dies from Doohickey Magnolia.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I gave them a little bling with Stickels, "Silver". And at the bottom I glued a bow made from Scrappers Floss.
The ribbon that I used is coming from my stash.
The inside of the card I decorated also. Used only one beautiful paper from the paper pad and on the ticket, made with Nestabilities Rectangles, I attached a little tag also coming from the paper pad with a split pen. I keep my insides of the cards rather simple, because I cant buy anything over here in Egypt. So I must use my stuff a little economic. And that is the beauty with the paper pads from Kaisercraft. There are always papers in it what you do not use so much on the front of the card.
So, that was it for today folks! Thanks for passing by and if you leave a comment it is always greatly appreciated. Hope to see you soon back.

Just For You

And again Hello to every body to day. Again this day two cards for you what I made.
I was busy with two projects this week. One for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog where I was invited as a Guest Designer.
And this card I made for the Challenge over at Aurora Wings Challenge Blog. The Challenge this forth night was to use Easter Pastels. So it hadn't to be an Easter Card, you could also use pastel colours. And so I did.
I choose the beautiful digi stamp "Poppy Elf"and coloured her up with my Copics.
Around the image I used some Stampendous "Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel".
I used this embossing enamel also around the sentiment stamp and on the butterfly edge.
The papers I used are coming from a paper pad from Kaisercraft, "True Romance". All the papers I inked up with Distess Ink, "Walnut Stain". Behind the papers on the left side I put a pink doily.
The sentiment stamp was made with a set 26 from Lili of the Valley, "Simply Sophisticated". Instead of black ink I used this time Memento "Rose Bud".
I made an edge with an edger punch from Martha Stewart, "Doily Lace".
The butterfly Edge is a die from Noor! Design, 6002/0389. On the left side behind the flowers I used an edge die also from Noor! Design, 6002/0149. Inked the embossed parts with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain" and cut it in half.
The leaves I made with dies from Cheery Lynn and Crealies. The little butterflies is a die from Die-Namics.
The flowers and the Vintage Seam Binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts. On the flowers I put some Stickels "Star Dust".
The rhinestones and flat back pearls are from my stash.
The inside of the card I also decorated. Just one paper from the paper pad and a tag to write on made with Nestabilities Labels Large and Small.
I do hope you like this card again. Thanks for visiting and if you leave a comment it is much appreciated. Have a nice Easter Weekend!

Today's The Day

Good day to you all on this beautiful Thursday. First I want to thank everybody visiting my blog and leaving some sweet comments! Much appreciated.
Now on to my new card for today. And this is a special one! With one of my former cards I won a Guest Designer place in the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog Team! And how great is this! Again thank you Jo and Team.
The challenge for the coming week is to make a card or project with the colour White and One other colour. Well, that is not so difficult I think.
The Team found a great sponsor for this Challenge: Eureka! Stamps. They have really tons of beautiful stamps and digital stamps to choose from.
And for my example for this Challenge I got "Adrienne Angel". Isn't she sweet. I coloured her up with my Copics.
The papers I used are from an old paper pad from Bo Bunny, "Enchanted". I inked the papers up with Distress Ink, "Black Soot". Behind the papers I tucked in a paper doily.
The sentiment stamp comes from a set from Lili of the Valley, Set 26 "Simply Sophisticated".
I used a border punch of Martha Steward, "Doily Lace", an old leave punch and the butterfly punch.
Other dies I used for the branches are from Marianne Design, Doohickey from Magnolia and Cheery Lynn. The little butterfly is made with a die from Die-Namics.
The flowers, Vintage Seam Binding and stamens are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The flat back pearls are coming from my stash. What was needed I put some Stickels, "Star Dust" on it for the bling. Love my bling!
The inside of the card I decorated also. Kept it simple with a beautiful paper from the paper pad and made oval with my Nestabilities so you can write a message.
Well, that was it for now. I do hope you like my creation and hope to see you playing along in C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog.

Baby Boy

Good day to every body on this sunny day over here in Luxor. Temperature is already getting high. Today around 35C but end of the week 38C. So my swimming pool is ready in time! Lucky me. Lol.
Thanks again for all your visits on my latest cards and your lovely comments. Love to read them.
But back to my card for today. Last week I made a card for a baby girl so I thought, I do have to make a card for a baby boy to.
So on to making one. And this is what I came up with.
Again I used a decoupage sheet from Nellie Snellen, "Vintage Baby Boy".
Instead of using blue for this card I decided to use mint green. I like this colour also for a boy.
The papers I used are from a very old paper pad from Kaisercraft, "Secret Bird Society".
I matted the picture on kraft card stock which is made with a die of Crealies, "XXL Stitch Vierkant 22". I was left with a frame what you normally throw away. But this time I used it around the picture and put it around it but not totally in the middle.
I made a edge with a Doohickey from Magnolia which is all little stars. I saved some of the cut out stars and put them later back on the card.
The other star die I used is from Die-Namics, "Stacking Stars".
The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley, set 26, "Simply Sophisticated". After that I cut it out with a die (I don't know any more from which company) and attached that with some jute twine to the square.
In the left corner I put a little tag behind the papers. I decorated it with paper from the paper pad and put a stamp on it from Personal Impressions. On top of the tag I glued a little bow from jute twine.
Other materials used are some Vintage Seam Binding and some flat back pearls.
The inside of the card I decorated also but kept it simple. Only stamped a little baby boy on it with a stamp from Marianne Design, "Eline's Toddlers" and embossed the stamp with WoW! Embossing powder, "Seaglass".
So that was it for today peeps. I'm off to colour up a new stamp for my next card. Thanks for passing by and hope you have a wonderful day!
