4 Crafty Chicks Challenge - Blue Christmas

Good day to every body. I have a new post for you.
Sadly with a lot of delay because my internet, again, was not working. This time it was a problem with cut cables somewhere.
But oké, this is the new card for the blog of the 4 Crafty Chicks.

The theme for this week is: Blue Christmas.

I do love blue Christmas cards. And luckily there is a lot of papers with blue in it from which you can choose.
This time a made a Vintage style card. I used a picture from a push out decoupage paper from Studio Light. It is a real Holland scene.
The papers I used are from Bo Bunny. Behind the papers I put a paper doily.
I used a die from Noor! Design and a edge punch from Martha Stewart.
The little tags are sentiment stamps from Lili of the Valley.
On the big tags I used other stamps. And so here and there I also used a snowflake stamp from Magnolia.
The ribbons, flat back pearls, twine and little bells are from my stash.
The flowers and the Vintage Seam Binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The leafs behind the flowers are two different dies from Magnolia.
The inside of the card I also decorated. For that I used a die from Crealies to make a rectangle. The skates are a die from Noor! Design. The embossed parts I inked up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain".
I do hope you like this card again. If you like visit the Challenge Blog of the 4 Crafty Chicks and take a look at all the beautiful examples the ladies made. And of course you can play along if you like so you get in time with your Christmas Cards!
Thanks every body for visiting my blog and see you next week.

Baby Boy

Good day to every body on this sunny day over here in Luxor. Temperature is already getting high. Today around 35C but end of the week 38C. So my swimming pool is ready in time! Lucky me. Lol.
Thanks again for all your visits on my latest cards and your lovely comments. Love to read them.
But back to my card for today. Last week I made a card for a baby girl so I thought, I do have to make a card for a baby boy to.
So on to making one. And this is what I came up with.
Again I used a decoupage sheet from Nellie Snellen, "Vintage Baby Boy".
Instead of using blue for this card I decided to use mint green. I like this colour also for a boy.
The papers I used are from a very old paper pad from Kaisercraft, "Secret Bird Society".
I matted the picture on kraft card stock which is made with a die of Crealies, "XXL Stitch Vierkant 22". I was left with a frame what you normally throw away. But this time I used it around the picture and put it around it but not totally in the middle.
I made a edge with a Doohickey from Magnolia which is all little stars. I saved some of the cut out stars and put them later back on the card.
The other star die I used is from Die-Namics, "Stacking Stars".
The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley, set 26, "Simply Sophisticated". After that I cut it out with a die (I don't know any more from which company) and attached that with some jute twine to the square.
In the left corner I put a little tag behind the papers. I decorated it with paper from the paper pad and put a stamp on it from Personal Impressions. On top of the tag I glued a little bow from jute twine.
Other materials used are some Vintage Seam Binding and some flat back pearls.
The inside of the card I decorated also but kept it simple. Only stamped a little baby boy on it with a stamp from Marianne Design, "Eline's Toddlers" and embossed the stamp with WoW! Embossing powder, "Seaglass".
So that was it for today peeps. I'm off to colour up a new stamp for my next card. Thanks for passing by and hope you have a wonderful day!

Keep Smiling

Today I have another Vintage card for you. And again this picture is taken from the internet.
The paper pad I used is from Kaisercraft, my favourite brand to use for my cards. This is an oldy, 'Ivy and Blea'. Love the colours.

The paper ornament behind the picture is made with a die from Noor! Design, 6002/0147. I cut it out of Kraft card stock and then cut it into four pieces. Two of the pieces I attached behind the picture.
The beautiful  guipure lace is coming from The Ribbon Girl.
Behind the papers I put a little tag. The blue Vintage Seam Binding is coming from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The big flower arrangement I made with roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Behind it is a swirl made with a die from Magnolia Doohickey, 'Heart Swirl'.
The leaves are made with a die from Noor! Design, 6003/0046 Vintage Flourishes 'Leaf 1'.
The bow is made with ribbon from my stash.
The little butterfly is a die from Die-Namics.
The cut out butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn.
The sentiment stamp comes from Lili of the Valley, Set 58, 'Pretty Grungy - Good Times'. Stamped with Memento Ink 'Toffee Crunch' and after that cut out with a round Nestabilitie.
The pearls coming from my stash. I inked up all the papers with Distress Ink, 'Walnut Stain'.
And for the bling put on Stickels, 'Stardust'.
That was it for tonight. I hope you like this card again and will be seeing you soon again.
Have a beautiful Sunday and thank you for your visit!

Oh So Special

Good day everybody. Finally got back with a card for you. I have been rather busy the last few weeks. I moved my craft room from up to down stairs. That was for me more easy and up stairs in the summer the room gets very hot and I do hope down stairs will not be so hot.
But it was not that I have been sitting still the whole time. I did some crafting and managed to make a few cards. This is one of them.
A vintage card again with a picture from the internet. Because the girl on the picture holds a bright yellow flower it was a good opportunity to use a new paper pad I already had for a while.
It is from Authentique, 'Classique: Beauty'.
The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley, Set 58, 'Pretty Grungy - Good Times'. The sentiment was stamped with Distress Ink, 'Pumice Stone'.
The border from the yellow card  stock I made with a punch of Martha Stewart, 'Doily Lace'.
The corner swirl is a die from Sizzix. The branches are a die from Cheery Lynn, 'Olive Branch'.
The corner piece down under the ribbon and bow is a die from Noor! Design 6002/0149.
I also put a little heart charm from The Ribbon Girl to it.
The little butterflies are punched out with a punch of Martha Steward, 'Classic Butterfly'.
And of course the flowers and roses are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The doily in the corner was made with a die from Cheery Lynn, 'Kiwi Spirit Doily'. I cut her out of the grey cardstock.
To finish the card off, I used some yellow rhinestones and light grey flat back pearls from The Hobbyhouse.
The edges of the papers I distressed and after that inked them with Distress Ink, 'Pumice Stone'.
Used some Stickels, 'Diamond' for the bling. The ribbon is coming from my stash.
I hope you like the card again. Thanks for visiting and see you soon again with a new card.

Vintage Lady

Good day everybody. Today I have another Vintage card for you. Again this image comes from internet and was printed out. You can find so much beautiful pictures on internet!
The papers I used are from a paper pad from Kaisercraft, 'Ma Cherie', a rather new paper pad.
I'm a big fan from the paper pads from Kaisercraft. They have such lovely designs and colours.
This time I did not use a sentiment on the front, because I already new for who the card was. A good lady friend of mine has a new home so I wanted to give her this card. My message I wrote at the inside.
On both edges of the image I used a die from Marianne Design, Creatable LR0270. The embossed part I inked up with Distress Ink, 'Black Soot'.
The roses and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The two dies I used under the flowers are from Memory Box, 'Tall Chloe Stem' and another die from Marianne Design, Creatable LR0229. On the black stem die from MD I put some Stickels, 'Star Dust'.
The bow is made with Vintage Seam Binding an on it I attached a charm.

The inside of the card I also decorated. For that I only used a paper from the paper pad. There are always papers in the paper pads of Kaisercraft who have a big design on it. If you cut it for smaller pieces most of the time the design will be gone. Those papers you can use so beautiful for the inside. The cut out butterfly is also coming from a paper what is in the paper pad.
For writing your own message I cut out an oval with a die from Noor! Design, 'Ovaal' 6002/0258.
To finish the card I used a die on top of the card and it is coming from Die-Namics.
The papers I inked up with Distress Ink, 'Black Soot'. The ribbon on the card is also Vintage Seam Binding and over it I put black velvet ribbon from my stash.
The edge on the black card stock on the middle of the card is a punch from Martha Stewart.
On the right top I glued a feather and some black tule. On top of that a black pearl rhinestone.
Furthermore some pink flat back pearls. And for the bling some Stickels, 'Stardust' on the flowers.
I hope you like this card again. Thank you for visiting my blog and much appreciated if you leave a comment. Hope to see you soon again and wishing you a nice day!

Believe In Your Dreams

Good day to you all. I hope you had a lovely weekend. I sure did. Was busy with making another Vintage card and this is what I came up with.
The image is again somewhere from the internet. I cut her out with a die from Noor! Design, 'Ovaal' 6002/0258.
The papers I used are from Maja Design, one of their first series.
Here an up close photo of the cut out picture. The photo is still a little bit bleak. Have to get used to my new camera. Lol.

All the flowers I used are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. I cut out a little fence with a Doohickey die from Magnolia, 'Lovely Fence'.
Under the flowers I used a leaf die from Creative Expressions, 'Trailing Ivy'. I used that die twice and cut of from one branch only the top an put it on my card.
I put some lovely blue buttons here and there between the flowers. These buttons are also from WOC.
And also stuck some blue stamens between the roses.
The little butterflies on the fence are make with an old punch and the one on top is a die from Die-Namics.
On the bottom of the card I made a bow from Vintage Seam Binding, coming from WOC. I attached a little brassy charm to it. On top of the bow is a blue pearl brad from The Hobbyhouse.
The sentiment are stickers from Tim Holtz,
The inside of the card I decorated also. For that I used a tag from the papers and matted it on blue and then kraft card stock.
Then attached gold wire on the back of it an fastened it with a nail-like spacer so it looks like something hanging on a wal.
At the top corners I used a photo-die from Quickutz.
At the left side of the card I used again a die from Noor! Design, 'Rand' 6002/0260.
Stuck a paper doily between the design papers, some bandage and a tag behind it.
The beautiful guipure lace is coming from The Ribbon Girl.
The papers are inked up with Distess Ink, 'Walnut Stain'. On the roses and everything else needed I put Stickels, 'Star Dust'.
A lot of the materials I used are coming from 'HobbyVision', a lovely craft shop with super friendly customer service.
And at least some flat back pearls and rhinestones from The Hobbyhouse. And there is my finished Vintage Card!
I hope you like it. Thanks a lot for passing by and see you hopefully back soon again. Have a nice day!

Happy Birthday

Hello to everybody! Back again today with a new card. This time it is a Vintage one. I do love Vintage a lot. You always work with the soft colors. And I love my pinks as well.
The picture on the card I got somewhere from the internet. There a so many beautiful old Vintage pictures on the internet.
I matted the picture on white card stock cut out with a Classic Rectangle Nestabilitie.
The sentiment stamp comes from Lili of the Valley, set 58 'Pretty Grungy - Good Times'.
The designer papers I used are also from Lili of the Valley from the paper pad 'Always & Forever', but I think they discontinued the paper pads.
At the top of the card I used a die from Noor! Design, 'Rand Franse Lelie' 6002/0256. The embossed part I inked up with Distress Ink, 'Walnut Stain'.
The flowers and roses are, as usual, from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pink Vintage Seam Binding also comes from them.
The little leafs are a die from Noor! Design, 'Vintage Leaf 1'. The pink swirl is a Doohickey from Magnolia, 'Heart Swirl'.
Attached to one rose is a charm from the Ribbon Girls.
And on top of the bow from the Seam Binding I put a brad from The Hobbyhouse. I clipped the legs of so I could glue it with Arleene's Tacky Glue.
At the other side of the card I shoved a little heart from pink card stock underneath the photo. The heart is a old die from Sizzix.
The little butterfly is a punch from Martha Stewart, 'Royal Butterfly'. It is a old punch but I still love to use it much because it is so delicate.
The inside of the card I also decorated. For that I used a Nestabilitie, Labels nr. 4.
And on the small edge of card stock and paper I made a edge with a edger punch of Martha Stewart, 'Doily Lace'.
To finish the card I used lace witch I bought at the market in my hometown. I stapled it to the card stock. Al the papers I inked up with Distress Ink, 'Walnut Stain'. To make it a bit more Vintage-like I put a little bit of DecoArt White Crackle Paint on the papers.
Also used a little tag on the left side and a paper doily on the right.
Flowers, butterflies and everything needed put Stickels, 'Star Dust' on it. And used some flat back pearls and rhinestones.
I do hope you like this card again. Thanks a lot for visiting and if you leave a comment that would be so nice! Have a lovely day and see so soon.

Christmas Hugs

Goedemorgen allemaal.
